Two dates available, July 25th and August 22nd – choose the one that fits your schedule!  Each workshop includes materials to make two sparkling holiday trees — perfect for decorating and gifting.

 

Come spend a creative summer day at the gallery and leave with two handcrafted pieces that will become part of your holiday décor for years to come! Celebrate Christmas in July by creating a pair of stunning fused glass holiday trees. In this one-day workshop, you’ll learn how to break and layer glass to build dimensional trees complete with sparkly accents.

Each tree will come with a detachable wood base for display and easy storage from year to year. 

 

All materials are provided, and step-by-step instruction will guide you through the entire process.

 

Projects will be designed and assembled during class, then fired off-site in the instructor’s studio. Finished pieces will be available for pickup at the Buchanan Art Gallery in approximately two weeks.

 

Class size is limited to twelve participants to allow for personalized instruction and a comfortable workspace. Please wear closed-toe shoes and bring a lunch to enjoy at your leisure.

All supplies are provided unless students own their own glass tools and wish to use those instead of the ones that are supplied
