Service Description

Using your subject’s photo, you will learn how to transfer that image, to create a likeness, onto watercolor paper. No special drawing skills necessary. Included in the workshop fee, is a copy of Betty’s workbook, “One Step at a Time- Watercolor Portraits”, with instructions, color charts, and practice exercises. Each step will be demonstrated by Betty before proceeding and you will receive additional instruction as needed throughout the process. The one requirement is that you have a working knowledge of watercolor, especially in blending. The results of your efforts are directly related to your ability and experience. You will learn to paint a portrait using Betty’s tried and true process, from step by step instructions in the workbook so that you will be able to paint future portraits.
